Inspired Business Suite

The Inspired Business Suite is a FileMaker Pro-based free contact management system that is fully customizable and expandable to a fully featured Customer Relations Management (CRM) system.

You pick and choose the modules you need, pay only for what you need (or pay nothing if you need only contact management). Then, the system is yours to use and customize as you wish.

Do your customizations yourself or ask our experienced, certified FileMaker Pro developers to assist you. Either way, you will save tens of thousands of dollars in custom development costs while still reaping the benefits of a custom system.

Manage users and permissions from within the Inspired Productivy Suite interface. No need worry about keeping permissions in different files synchronized. Inspired Business Suite handles that for you. When users change their password, the change will automatically update throughout your system.

The Modules

Contact Management

Contact management is at the heart of the Inspired Business Suite and is included in the free Inspired Business Suite – Basic package. This module features search-as-you-type functionality, multi-dimentional grouping and tagging of contacts, powerful filtering and a clean, intuitive interface that can be easily customized from a central layout.

Point of Sale (POS)

Handle all of your point of sale transactions from within your FileMaker solution. Select your sales items in a searchable list on the left of the screen and click on them to add them to the current sale shown on the right. Can be customized to trigger actions within your FileMaker system when certain items are purchased. For instance, when combined with the Course/Event module, purchase of a course or event registration will trigger the registration process. POS transactions are easily "convertable" to invoices, allowing your customers the option to pay later.

Includes multiple sales reports complete with graphs and charts.

Time Clock

One click punch in and punch out. Time sheet reports that simplify your payroll process. Easily configurable pay period and overtime settings. Logged in employee’s punch status appears throughout the system.

Invoicing

Enter invoices and payments. Similar to the POS module, select items from a searchable list on the left to add them to your invoice on the right. Automatically bill for activities you perform when combined with the Project Management module. Multiple A/R reports including aging and customer balance with graphs and charts. Several sales and income reports included as well. Integration with QuickBooks possible (requires plugin and may require additional development and configuration services).

Features a transaction model allowing you to see the progression of customer accounts and provide transaction reports for your customers.

Contact Notes History

Keep track of your interactions with your prospects or any important, historic events in your relationship with your contacts. Specify keywords to flag while typing. You can even specify forbidden words to prevent your employees from using inappropriate language within your contact history. This module was originally created for medical charting but has been adapted for broader use.

Project Management

Easily keep track of your projects and related tasks. Track the amount of time spent on each task by clicking a start and pause button. Assign tasks to personnel and track their progress. Participants see their list of assignments, click a button to start tracking their time, click another button when complete and enter a description of their activities. Bill for time spent on a client’s project with a single click when combined with the Invoicing module.

Time Billing

Automatically create invoices for the time you and your team spend on a project. This feature is included automatically with any package that includes both Invoicing and Project Management.

Calendar

Fully featured calendar with drag and drop functionality right within your custom database system. Automatically display events from within your FileMaker system, such as task deadlines from the Project Management module. View data from external calendars such as Google Calendar. You can also manually add and edit events.

Campaigns

Send mass emails or print mass letters with merge data from your contact data. Automatically create campaigns from a found set of contact records or a defined group. Keep track of campaign history. Always know who received what to avoid sending redundant messages.

Course/Event Registration

Schedule events and keep track of registrants. Events automatically appear on the calendar. Register and record payment transactions simultaneously when combined with the POS or Invoicing module.
